As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:
- Drive complex audit engagements, taking full responsibility for the on-site execution of assurance assignments and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, leading interactions to resolve proactive issues and deliver an exceptional, tailored service.
- Mentor, coach, and support junior staff members on-site to enhance overall team performance and technical capability.
- Streamline processes during assignments to identify efficiencies, improve quality, and deliver high-value insights to middle-market businesses.
As the successful candidate you will:
- Hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Demonstrate proven experience carrying out assurance-related tasks and conducting analytical reviews within a professional services environment.
- Possess strong experience leading on-site teams and handling client relationships to produce high-quality assurance deliverables.
- Exhibit an analytical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to spot inefficiencies and proactively implement process improvements.
