Part-Time Personal Tax Senior Manager – 9 Partner Firm – Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Our client is an accountancy firm with a traditional, general practice approach to their clients but with a modern and entrepreneurial approach to how they work. With approximately 70 staff and 9 Partners based across 8 offices, including their outsourcing brand, the firm are continuing to grow at a strong but steady and sustainable rate. The client base is broad but has a strength in property and hospitality ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to large groups with turnovers in excess of £200m.
Personal Tax Senior Manager responsibilities will include:
- Predominantly advisory work, with some level of compliance, including some complex and technical compliance work
- Providing expert tax advice and services across a wide range of tax areas, including but not limited to income tax, inheritance tax, trusts and CGT
- Assisting colleagues at all levels with tax queries on a diverse portfolio across a variety of sectors including HNWI, company directors, entrepreneurs
- Prepare and review tax computations, tax returns and supporting documents in line with deadlines and tax regulations.
As a Personal Tax Senior Manager you will be/have:
- CTA or ACA (and STEP) qualified
- Over 7 years’ Personal Tax experience
- Experience working on a varied, large portfolio of clients consisting of directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, HNWI's, landed estates, non-UK domiciled individuals and non-resident clients
- Extensive personal tax advisory experience
- Experience with complex clients and managing client relationships
- Experience with managing a team
