Responsibilities

Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, serving as their primary day-to-day point of contact for compliance and query resolution.
Prepare and review high-quality personal tax returns and Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions with minimal supervision.
Formulate, calculate, and submit accurate P11D forms, benefits-in-kind calculations, and employer Class 1A National Insurance Contributions (NICs).
Identify personal tax planning opportunities across income tax, capital gains, and inheritance tax, proactively escalating complex files to managers and partners.
Review technical computations prepared by junior team members, providing practical on-the-job support and guidance.
Draft comprehensive correspondence and technical disclosures to HMRC in relation to routine enquiries and client disclosures.
Monitor active workflows to ensure internal procedures and statutory HMRC deadlines are met meticulously across the personal tax department.

As a Tax Senior you will:

Possess a minimum of three years' experience specialised within personal tax compliance and advisory workflows.
Hold an ATT or CTA qualification, which is highly desirable for this senior position within the team.
Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the capability to manage client relationships independently.
Be technically proficient with advanced analytical and mathematical abilities alongside strong general IT skills, particularly in Excel.
