As a Senior Accountant you will:

Manage the preparation and completion of statutory accounts from planning through to completion for a varied client portfolio.
Prepare corporation tax returns, review VAT work, and provide practical support on day-to-day accounting matters.
Review the work of junior team members, providing coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.
Assist managers and partners with portfolio management, client service delivery, and ad hoc advisory assignments.

As the successful candidate you will:

Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with several years of experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
Demonstrate strong technical experience preparing statutory accounts for owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors.
Possess confidence in preparing corporation tax computations and reviewing VAT returns.
Have hands-on experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks, alongside strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Display a proactive approach with a genuine interest in building long-term client relationships and mentoring junior staff.
