Audit Senior Manager responsibilities

Managing a substantial portfolio of audit clients, primarily owner-managed businesses and SMEs with turnovers typically ranging from £5m to £30m.
Leading the full audit lifecycle from planning and risk assessment through to completion, ensuring all files meet the highest quality and regulatory standards.
Mentoring and developing a dedicated audit team, overseeing workflow, and providing feedback to managers, seniors, and trainees.
Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities for advisory work and supporting Partners with new business tenders and firm growth.

As the successful candidate you will

Be ACA or ACCA Qualified with significant post-qualification audit experience within a UK-based accountancy practice.
Have a proven track record of managing an audit portfolio and leading professional teams through complex assignments.
Demonstrate the commercial acumen required to advise owners and directors of SMEs on wider business and financial matters.
Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple client engagements while maintaining excellent standards of service.
