Tax Senior Manager – 9 Partner Firm – Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Are you a Tax Senior Manager looking to join a growing firm in one of the biggest hubs in Kent? Are you looking for an advisory focused role over Corporate & Personal Tax? Are you looking for a client facing, autonomous role with little to no staff management?

Our client is an accountancy firm with a traditional, general practice approach to their clients but with a modern and entrepreneurial approach to how they work. With approximately 70 staff and 9 Partners based across 8 offices, including their outsourcing brand, the firm are continuing to grow at a strong but steady and sustainable rate. The client base is broad but has a strength in property and hospitality ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to large groups with turnovers in excess of £200m.

Tax Senior Manager responsibilities will include:

Assisting colleagues at all levels with tax queries on a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, small businesses and corporate clients.
Providing expert tax advice and services across a wide range of tax areas, including but not limited to income tax, corporate tax, inheritance tax, trusts, and CGT.
Offering tax planning and advisory services to clients, helping them optimise their tax positions.
Restructuring of corporate groups.
Prepare and review tax computations, tax returns and supporting documents in line with deadlines and tax regulations.
Research complex tax issues and provide practical, solutions-driven advice.
Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, responding to enquiries and resolving disputes.

As a Tax Senior Manager you will be/have:

CTA qualified
Over 7 years combined Personal & Corporate Tax experience
Experience working on your own portfolio including Corporation Tax and personal tax, including manging client relationships & generating business
Experience with planning advisory work
