US/UK Tax Director – Big 4 Firm – London

US/UK Tax Director responsibilities include:
- Driving business development opportunities through your network and collaboration with colleagues
- Managing the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-focused approach
- Providing development support to junior team members through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring
- Contributing to people initiatives, including team retention, development, and training
- Playing a significant role in the management of the team — both strategically and operationally — while overseeing junior staff development and assignments
As a US/UK Tax Director, you will have:
- Significant experience at a similar level within a professional practice
- Strong technical knowledge across a full range of client tax requirements, including signing off US/UK tax returns
- Proven experience advising non-domiciled individuals and high-net-worth clients
- Strategic and commercially aware, with excellent relationship management skills
- Confident negotiation skills and can articulate and sustain well-reasoned opinions
- The ability to influence and respectfully challenge when needed
- The ability to lead, develop, and manage junior team members
- Proven ability to identify and convert opportunities into work
- Experience in billing and managing financial performance
- Effective time and project management skills to meet deadlines
