VAT Manager responsibilities include:

Overseeing a portfolio of complex clients, managing VAT, indirect tax, and/or customs compliance and advisory work
Leading and coordinating assignments, drawing on input from specialist teams as needed
Reviewing team outputs, ensuring quality, accuracy, and proper documentation
Responding to client queries on VAT and/or customs issues, resolving them or escalating to Director/Partners
Preparing budgets and fee proposals; monitor and manage fee recovery
Acting as a key liaison for clients and collaborating with colleagues across departments to deliver excellent service
Supporting business development by identifying opportunities with new and existing clients

As a VAT Manager, you will be/have:

ACCA or ATT/CTA qualified
Over 5 Years’ Indirect Tax experience
Managing a portfolio of VAT clients responsible for the delivery of all aspects of assignments
Experience with VAT advisory
Staff management experience
