As a VAT Manager you will:

Manage a comprehensive portfolio of clients, ensuring end-to-end project delivery is completed on time, within agreed budgets, and in compliance with quality control and risk management procedures.
Control billings and cash collection in line with firm criteria while identifying and driving opportunities for continued business growth.
Collaborate closely with an international network to advise clients on complex global VAT issues and cross-border transactions.
Actively participate in new bids and proposals to secure new clients and expand service delivery.
Mentor and manage junior team members, providing guidance and fostering talent within the specialist tax team.

As the successful candidate you will:

Possess significant, in-depth experience and knowledge of UK VAT matters and recent key regulatory updates.
Demonstrate proven experience of providing VAT services to a wide range of clients, including household names, global multinationals, and fast-paced privately owned businesses.
Bring strong experience in managing a client portfolio, driving business development targets, and controlling billings.
Have solid background in end-to-end project delivery, quality control procedures, and risk management.
Possess prior people management experience with a confident ability to communicate regularly with senior managers, Directors, and Partners.
