VAT Senior Manager – Leeds – Top 20 Firm

Our client is a Top 20 firm, offering market-leading international opportunities. Over the last 10 years, the firm has operated in over 70 countries, and now boast multiple international AIM listed clients. They're also a part of a worldwide network of accounting firms, allowing them to provide various international secondments and transfers. Despite the international presence, the firm is renowned in the UK for it's expertise in the London insurance markets.

VAT Senior Manager responsibilities include:

Due diligence as part of Transaction Services projects
VAT input as part of external audit services
VAT input to insolvency/restructuring team
Training staff/clients on VAT matters
Investigation and resolution of VAT queries
Preparation and submission of VAT registration applications and VAT returns.

As a VAT Senior Manager, you will:

Be ACCA or CTA qualified
Have over 7 years’ Indirect Tax Experience
Be managing a portfolio of VAT clients responsible for the delivery of all aspects of assignments, identifying opportunities and managing client relationships
Responsible for the delivery of VAT planning & advisory
Staff management experience

In return, as a VAT Senior Manager, you will receive:

35-hour week
paid overtime
28 days holiday
10am-4pm core hours
hybrid working (50% working from home)
