As an Agricultural Accounts Senior you will:

Prepare and complete year-end financial statements alongside corporation tax computations for a broad portfolio of agricultural and farming business enterprises.
Work directly with agricultural clients and their in-house bookkeepers throughout the year to optimize accounting processes and manage year-end cut-offs accurately.
Cross-collaborate with internal personal tax, VAT, and financial services teams to identify holistic tax planning and advisory opportunities ahead of fee-earner client meetings.
Support the professional development of junior Accounts Assistants by overseeing assignment tasks, providing structured technical training, and reviewing draft files.

As the successful candidate you will:

Hold an AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualification, or be an accounts graduate / qualified by experience.
Possess 2+ years of accountancy practice experience, with prior exposure to or a demonstrable interest in agricultural accounting.
Demonstrate technical proficiency in statutory accounts preparation, corporation tax computations, and financial reporting.
Have practical experience using cloud accounting software and practice tools such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Digita (DAPA), or APS.
