Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior you will:

Manage and deliver statutory audit engagements from initial planning through to completion, leading on-site audit teams across the North East.
Utilise advanced digital audit platforms and systems to drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and technical quality.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during audit fieldwork, building strong working relationships and addressing client queries.
Review audit working papers and financial draft statements prepared by junior team members, providing direct coaching and constructive feedback.
Work in close collaboration with Audit Managers and Partners to ensure seamless project delivery and high standards of client service.
Support departmental process improvements and actively participate in team strategy discussions.
Maintain up-to-date technical accounting knowledge and compliance standards through structured Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
