Our client is a prominent Top 10 Firm and the UK’s largest SME practice, boasting a network of over 3,000 staff. Following significant regional growth, their Suffolk presence is expanding, offering the resources of a major international brand with the close-knit culture of a local office.

Audit Senior responsibilities

Take ownership of a varied portfolio of audit assignments, ensuring high-quality delivery from planning through to completion.
Lead audit fieldwork and perform analytical procedures both in-office and on-site at client premises.
Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP, identifying high-level risk areas for Partner review.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, developing enduring professional relationships and supporting business development initiatives.

As the successful candidate you will

Be ACA, ACCA, or AAT Part Qualified with a minimum of 2 years of audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
Possess a strong working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and International Auditing Standards.
Have experience coaching more junior team members and coordinating audit teams on-site.
Demonstrate the ability to exercise professional judgement when identifying and resolving complex accounting matters.
