As a Junior Accountant - School Leaver or Grad you will:

Prepare statutory financial statements and year-end accounts for a broad range of businesses, alongside assisting with corporation tax computations and advisory compliance.
Prepare and review quarterly VAT returns and manage HMRC submissions.
Support the team with weekly and monthly payroll processing, RTI, and auto-enrolment pensions.
Participate in field and desk-based audit engagements by assessing risk and testing internal controls.
Assist with personal tax compliance and advisory queries while working closely with senior team members and partners.

As the successful candidate you will:

Either be a school leaver with A-Levels (or equivalent) looking to complete AAT before ACA, or a university graduate ready to study the ACA directly.
Meet the essential funding requirement of being under 21 years of age at the start of the program to qualify for the Level 7 government-funded apprenticeship standard.
Possess a highly analytical mindset with a strong academic background and a natural aptitude for numbers.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative, and a client-focused attitude.
Be eager to learn, highly adaptable, and keen to build a long-term career within a dynamic practice environment.
