Responsibilities

Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns.
Managing a dedicated client portfolio of SMEs, acting as their primary advisor and main point of contact.
Overseeing VAT return preparation, bookkeeping workflows, and complex bank reconciliations.
Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts accompanied by clear financial performance commentary.
Providing commercial tax planning and strategic business advisory support to growing clients.
Reviewing junior team members' work and supporting their ongoing technical development.

As a Senior Accountant you will:

Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with 3 to 5+ years of experience gained within a UK public practice accountancy firm.
Possess deep technical knowledge across statutory financial reporting, corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT compliance.
Demonstrate extensive hands-on expertise with cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
Exhibit a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Have experience or a strong desire to mentor junior staff and lead advisory-focused client engagements.
