Their dedicated Service Charge team in Stockport works closely with managing agents to review, scrutinise, and certify approximately 1,800 sets of leasehold service charge accounts each year, offering a structured environment with clear pathways for ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

As a Service Charge Assistant Manager you will:

Review service charge accounts and year-end packs prepared by junior team members, including bank reconciliations, debtors, and creditors.
Identify discrepancies, amendments, or missing documentation and liaise directly with managing agents to resolve queries.
Ensure all accounts are fully accurate and prepared to standard prior to Senior Manager or Director sign-off.
Mentor and support the technical development of Assistants and Seniors within the department.
Assist with managing workflow, team capacity, and portfolio delivery across the team.
Maintain regular, professional communication with client contacts throughout the reporting cycle.
