Associate Director responsibilities

Lead the delivery of accounting, tax, and business advisory services to a substantial portfolio of owner-managed and family-run businesses.
Manage, mentor, and develop the Ipswich general practice team, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Act as a trusted adviser to business owners, providing strategic input on business performance, systems, and growth.
Play a key role in the firm’s strategic direction, contributing to the growth and development of the Ipswich office.

As the successful candidate you will

Be ACA or ACCA Qualified with extensive post-qualified experience within a UK-based public practice firm.
Demonstrate a proven track record of managing a significant portfolio of limited companies and family businesses.
Possess strong leadership skills with experience in overseeing the professional development of junior and senior staff.
Have a proactive and commercially aware approach, with the ability to identify advisory opportunities for clients.
