Audit Senior responsibilities

Lead the full audit lifecycle from initial planning and fraud risk discussion through to completion and drafting financial statements.
Act as the onsite lead, delegating tasks to junior team members while providing essential on-the-job coaching and performance feedback.
Identify and resolve complex technical audit issues, ensuring all work is documented within Caseware and meets strict regulatory standards.
Maintain direct client relationships, gaining a deep understanding of their businesses to identify advisory opportunities and deliver commercial management reports.

As the successful candidate you will

Be ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience working within a professional accountancy practice.
Demonstrate proven experience in leading external audit assignments from start to finish.
Possess strong technical proficiency in computerised audit software (ideally Caseware) and Microsoft Office.
Have the ability to adapt quickly to changing deadlines and manage multiple client priorities effectively.
