Private Client Tax Director responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership on complex personal tax planning and high-level ad-hoc advisory projects for a diverse portfolio of HNWIs and business owners.
Drive business growth by developing external networks, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and leading fee-setting strategies to maximise revenue.
Mentor and empower senior team members, overseeing resource planning and career development to maintain a high-standard, collaborative environment.
Act as a technical expert and brand champion, ensuring the highest standards of professional ethics and quality monitoring across all client engagements.

As the successful candidate you will

Be CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified with extensive post-qualification experience in a professional practice environment.
Demonstrate a proven track record of winning new business and strategically growing a significant private client fee portfolio.
Possess advanced technical knowledge of complex tax legislation and the ability to translate this into commercial value for clients.
Have experience in leadership, including managing underperformance and fostering a culture of continuous personal and professional development.
